There was a real fire drill near the end of the movie and Principal Schlowski was seen getting several kids to safety. ![]() She informed John to not do it again but that otherwise she was satisfied with his work as a temporary kindergarten teacher. Midway through the movie, Principal Schlowski spoke to John about his beating up Zach's father and John admitted it was inappropriate to do that in front of the kids. In one scene, Principal Schlowski enacted a practice fire drill and disliked how much time it took John Kimble to get all his kids outside the school. Principal Schlowski witnessed the kids in John's classroom on his first day running around and making a mess, which did not please her. She reminded John that she would be watching him to monitor his performance. After she got done talking, she introduced John Kimble to the class and then gave him a whistle to use. She took him to his classroom on his first day and gave a talk to the kids about where their regular teacher was. Miss Schlowski was the principal of an elementary school in Astoria, Oregon where Detective Kimble taught while undercover to look for a drug dealer. Hunt, born on April 2nd, 1945 in Morristown, New Jersey was cast as Miss Schlowski. Miller was in the movies, "The Gun in Betty Lou's Handbag", "Carlito's Way" and "Chaplin". At the very end of the movie, Joyce and Detective Kimble shared a kiss after Detective Kimble returned to his classroom once released from the hospital. While there, Joyce and Detective Kimble spoke while she was packing a suitcase to leave town but Detective Kimble persuaded her to stay since he would protect her and Dominic. Joyce took Dominic and went home and Detective Kimble followed her home. Later on in the movie, there was a fair which Joyce took Dominic to and it was at the fair when John and Phoebe informed her that her ex husband was looking for Dominic. While they were waiting to be seated, John Kimble and his partner, Detective Phoebe O'Hara, entered the restaurant and all four decided to dine together. Midway through the movie, Joyce and her son, Dominic, went out to eat at a restaurant. On Detective Kimble's first day, he had difficult helping one of his students so he asked Joyce to help him out and she did. She taught at the same elementary school where Detective Kimble went undercover as a kindergarten teacher and her son was one of his students. Joyce used to be known under the name Rachel Crisp but changed her name as well as her son's in order to escape from her violent ex-husband, Cullen Crisp, Sr. Miller, a native of Los Angeles, California portrayed Joyce Palmieri. Schwarzenegger starred in the films, "End of Days", "Twins" and "The Villain". ![]() At the end of the movie, Detective Kimble faced off with Cullen and shot him dead but Cullen's mom arrived and shot Kimble. Kimble fell asleep and had a dream that Cullen shot him dead but he was awoken by a fellow teacher, Joyce. He yelled at them to be quiet but this upset the kids so he went to go get his pet ferret to cheer the kids up. Kimble stepped outside his classroom for a moment, he came back and noticed the kids had become very rambunctious. Kimble accidentally sat on the classroom piano, which caused the students to laugh. On his first day with his kindergarten class, Mr. ![]() Kimble was a detective with a police agency and went undercover as a kindergarten teacher to help locate a drug dealer named Cullen Crisp, Sr. Schwarzenegger, born on July 30th, 1947 in Thal, Styria, Austria was cast as John Kimble.
